Heather Connorton serves as the Director of Fundraising & Philanthropic Events for The EveryWish Foundation, where she leads donor engagement, sponsorship development, and philanthropic initiatives that advance the Foundation’s mission. Heather brings extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. She is known for building meaningful collaborations that connect mission-driven initiatives with partners ranging from local community organizations to nationally recognized corporations and global brands. Her work focuses on expanding philanthropic impact by aligning businesses, donors, and community leaders around causes that create lasting change. Prior to joining The EveryWish Foundation, Heather held leadership roles focused on community engagement & events, business development, education, and technology - including work with Apple where she developed innovative programs leading cross functional teams to do their life’s best work. This experience continues to shape her approach to partnership development, fundraising strategy, and collaborative community initiatives. Heather has long been active in civic and community leadership across education, youth sports, and the arts. She has served in governance roles supporting local education initiatives, including as Vice President of Ways & Means within the Katy ISD community, and has held board and leadership positions with youth sports organizations including the YMCA, Houston Youth Football League, and American Little League Baseball. She also actively supports youth theatre and arts programs that provide creative opportunities for young people to grow in confidence and storytelling. In addition, Heather is a longtime Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo committeeman, with more than two decades of service supporting one of Texas’ largest philanthropic organizations. Heather is also a passionate advocate for programs that expand opportunity and inclusion for children and families navigating complex challenges. She believes thoughtfully designed philanthropic initiatives—grounded in empathy, collaboration, and community—can create moments of hope for families today while supporting the discovery of tomorrow’s treatments and cures.
