Anais is a young woman whose story continues to inspire everyone who hears it. A vibrant and beautiful high school senior from Louisiana, Anais was known for her infectious smile, strong spirit, and leadership as a varsity cheer captain. She was thriving—surrounded by friends, deeply loved by her family, and looking forward to celebrating the milestones of her senior year.
Everything changed when Anais was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, an aggressive and life-threatening illness, during her final year of high school.
To pursue critical treatment, Anais and her parents temporarily relocated to Houston, while her younger sister remained back home to continue school. The move meant Anais missed many of the defining moments of her senior year—including time with friends, school events, and most heartbreakingly, her senior prom. Due to the severity of her condition, doctors would not allow her to travel.
For Anais and her family, this loss was devastating.
That’s when Stuff the Sleigh—now known as The EveryWish Foundation—stepped in to honor her wish in a way no one would ever forget.
With the support and blessing of her family, our team set out to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a fully customized senior prom, designed entirely around Anais—while keeping it a complete surprise.
To make the experience seamless, Anais was told she had been selected for a special magazine photoshoot in the Texas Medical Center. During this “photoshoot,” she was presented with a selection of dresses and treated like the star she truly was. Radiating confidence and joy, she chose the perfect prom dress—believing she was preparing for a magazine cover.
Behind the scenes, however, something much bigger was unfolding.
The EveryWish Foundation coordinated with her family, friends, and school community to bring her senior class to Houston. A chartered bus transported her closest friends, and an entire prom venue was transformed—complete with music, decorations, lights, and everything needed to recreate an authentic and unforgettable prom night.

When the evening arrived, Anais believed she was attending a reveal of her photoshoot.
Instead, as the doors opened, she was met with the surprise of a lifetime.
Waiting for her were her boyfriend, her family, and her closest friends—along with a beautifully decorated prom scene created just for her. As she stepped into the room in her stunning dress, confetti filled the air and cheers echoed all around. In that moment, time seemed to stand still.
Anais—radiant, courageous, and smiling—experienced the senior prom she had dreamed of.
It was a night filled with laughter, love, and pure joy. A moment where illness paused, and life, celebration, and youth took center stage.
Tragically, not long after that unforgettable evening, Anais passed away.
But her legacy continues.
Her family remains an active part of The EveryWish Foundation, and her school honors her memory each year through a dedicated fundraiser. Anais’ story lives on as a powerful reminder of why we do what we do—creating meaningful moments for children facing unimaginable challenges.
At The EveryWish Foundation, we believe every child deserves joy, dignity, and moments that feel bigger than their diagnosis.
Anais’ light still shines—and her story continues to inspire hope for countless others.
